AANYC - JFK - MIA and then MIA - IAH

I am going to Houston. Fare is basically the same if I get a JFK - MIA ticket with a nested MIA - IAH ticket. I used multicity option and they are priced separately.

If I do this on same PNR, does this qualify for AANYC? Do I need to do this on separate tickets?
