Earning Extra Miles on paid fly?
I have a quick question regarding paid fly.
On AA.com it gives the option to choose pluse, which allow 50% more miles earn on flight. Does this also stack with the elite status bonus?

No. Elite qualifying miles don't include class-of-service bonus miles, the 25% or 100% elite tier bonus miles or bonus miles that AA sells you.

I think the OP is just asking about RDM, and whether the elite status bonus of 25% or 100% stacks (multiplicatively) with the 50% bonus from choice plus. I don't know the answer, unfortunately.

I'd count on the Elite status bonus being on the base miles and not including any promotion/Choice Plus bonus. If route is 1000 miles and OP is Plat/EXP and buys choice plus then there'd be 1000 (Base miles) + 500 (Choice Plus) + 500 (Elite Bonus) = 2000. It would not be (1000+500) (base + choice plus) + (500+250) (Elite bonus on higher 'base')=2250.

The 50% is for award miles and only applies to base miles
