AA Award Booking AS MVP Gold
A couple days ago I booked an AA flight award using my AA miles to Hawaii, I have AS MVP Gold status and called today to change my FF# on the reservation to AS hoping it would unlock preferred seating, etc.
Unfortunately it still only shows non-preferred seating and doesn't even give me an option to pay for preferred.
Does AA not let you get preferred seating with AS Elite Status on AA Awards, or is something else not right here?
I tried searching the forums for the answer so please excuse me if this has been answered elsewhere, I was unable to find it.
