No more 500-mile upgrade cert "sticker" conversions [as of 4 Jun 2014]

Most of my flying is overseas travel so I usually convert my 500 mile upgrade certificates to miles. I just found out that AA ended the practice on June 4th, no exceptions.

Looks like I'll have to connect in DFW, LAX, or SFO for my next trip to Asia
