I posted in the BA forum a while back, sorry I can't find the link. Basically BA F is much better, especially on a 380 (and to lesser extent the 777), but not the best F experience in the world by a long stretch, hard product wise. It mostly comes down to a range of inconveniences you have with the Cirrus seat, which the extra space in an F seat pretty much remove. There's a lot of contentious wrangling around the FT BA forum about the state of the BA F product overall, which you'd be wise to review if you were actually contemplating it.

I've done it a few times as a redemption since I fly to Europe, need to do so through the UK more often than not and am flexible enough to put up with the last minute availability I can find in BA F, worth the YQ cost to me. I look at this as paying a bit less than the cost of economy and flying in good comfort. There's many would say I am wasting miles and money. YMMV
