ARCHIVE: Meal Entrée (mains) Reservations / Pre-order now Available (Oct 2012)
Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but I searched for entree reservations and didn't see anything. Mods, please move if appropriate.
I noticed that my upcoming JFK-LAX (in F) gives an option for pre-ordering my main course: http://imageshack.us/a/img688/1439/initiall.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img825/9931/secondzs.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img688/7900/menups.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img715/131/dietary.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img525/3916/faqjp.jpg Now I just have to decide if I can tell which entrée I'll want… |
Awesome!
Let's hope the test works out and they roll this out systemwide! ^ And they even put the correct accents on the word, like a global airline should. Kudos. |
This is a good step, however, I would hope that it would be accompanied by a greater selection of entrees
|
FEBO who?
|
Wow, that's awesome!
|
Interesting to know they're not serving Kosher meals from DEL.

Also, according to the always-up-to-date www.aa.com. the DEL ticketing office at the airport is still open from 10am to 2pm! Source |
There is a similar thread for pre-order of Buy on Board (BoB) meals in coach, but this is the first I've seen of this for F meals. Definitely like it.
Cheers. |
Hope they roll it out internationally as well. Sure beats calling to request a special meal.
|
And come to think of it, soon FEBO may be a thing of the past...

I understand that there is no certified kosher catering in Delhi, but other foreign airlines offer the option simply by carrying the meals with them on the inbound. This would have been too complicated for AA to achieve. Sorry, OT. |

No wonder they couldn't make a go of it.
