Can I do this routing on 1 ticket?

I'm trying to book my flights to the Maldives, but having trouble finding award seats. I've found DFW-FRA-TXL-AUH on AA.com (on AA and AB). Separately I've found AUH-MLE on EY. Can I call in and have that route priced at the one award price? (45K,67.5K,90K OW)

Does the Most Significant Carrier have a through fare published DFW-MLE that permits travel on the carriers you have selected, with a sufficiently generous MPM and no impeding routing restrictions? Would it satisfy other rules of oneworld and Other Airline Awards?

I see no DFW-MLE fares published on AA. So, my moderately-informed answer is that it isn't bookable as one award.

Others with more expertise may disagree with me. If so, I'm sure they'll weigh in here.

Cheers,

I believe DFW-DOH-MLE on QR is allowed - EF and Awardnexus both spit out results.

DFW-AUH-MLE may work, but you need to wait until next year..

Do you know what timeframe for next year? I'm traveling in Feb 2015. I thought I had saw they would start flying in Dec 2014, but not seeing that option in EY's website (but their site always seems buggy for me and I have to login like 4-5 times)

QR plans to start flying in July of 2014. Saw several routings with them with availability in 2/15 - might want to jump on that and adjust routing as Etihad or others come online.

EY originally said Dec 2014 with 3x weekly service to start...

Thanks - I've been exploring the QR option - but they seem to only have dfw-doh available M,T,W or some QR/BA options on the weekend (and I'm unwillingto pay the extra charges). Unfortunately, I'm not real flexible on my days as I have a Hilton stay booked at pre-devaluation rates which begins on a Monday night.

QR already serves IAH. But let me warn you that Doha is an arm pit of an airport for making connections. I hate it.

QR's first scheduled flight from DFW is July 1st. EY starts December 1st.

Whether DFW -> FRA (AA) -> TXL (AB) -> AUH (AB) -> MLE (EY) can be done on one award depends on whether AA has a published through fare for DFW -> MLE that allows this routing. Unfortunately, AA does not publish any DFW -> MLE fares.

EY does not yet publish any DFW -> MLE -or- IAH -> MLE fares. QR and BA do, which as of today are your only trans-Atlantic options.
