Lester Holt of NBC News on ORD-LGA the other day. He stole my upgrade
We diverted to BUF when trying to land in LGA. He seemed to take it in stride. I didn't think about it before the diversion, but he also narrates "Why Planes Crash" on The Weather Channel. I was glad when we finally safely made it to LGA.

LOL. There was turbulence for sure -- moderate at best. But "the worst?" No. Typical news hyperbole. Of course, I live near Aspen, so am used to heavy turbulence.

Yes, actually bumped into Sean Penn getting food. Very awkward.
Also, Cindy Crawford and Judd Apatow were on AA22 yesterday. Sat across the aisle from Cindy and didn't even recognize her until we deplaned. A photo op gone sour.

Back in March I got op-upped on an ORD-DEN flight on a CR7 and ended up sitting right in front of Nate Irving - linebacker for the Denver Broncos.

I had just walked out of the LAX Admirals Club to trek down to gate 48B when I noticed Anderson Cooper paying for something at the Hudson News. Of course I had to take the opportunity for a low-key handshake. All the props to AC...no DYKWIA whatsoever.

Beg to differ
But that photo, along with last weeks WSJ Magazine cover, have reinforced my nostalgia for Pretty Woman-BTW, met Richard Gere at Kalachakra event years back, handshake, etc. but seemed photo-op would have been out of place.

She was in one movie with one of the Baldwin brothers, but in doubt you are thinking of that....unless you remember the scene on the train

Anderson Cooper on AA009 jfk-lax this morning. seated right behind me in 4A. He is interviewing Magic Johnson tonight over Strerling's comments so I guess he is headed out for that.

Adam Scott (from Parks and Rec) was with his wife and 2 kids on the LAX-JFK 9am on May 9th. I was in 14B and he was in 12B. I was the last one to board the plane due to a late plane coming in from DEN and I saw him as I was putting my luggage overhead. I stared at him for a bit because I wasn't sure it was him, until he looked back at me. I immediately looked away.

I was at an SF Giants game yesterday and right next to where Amy Gutierrez was doing one of her interviews for CSN Bay Area. She had to waive at about 20 people who kept yelling "HI AMY G!" and posed for a few photos.
I feel really bad for celebrities who have to go through life posing for photos and shaking hands 20 times an hour or come off as rude.
