Does anyone else think that he resembles a much-younger Bob Crandall? I noticed the resemblance about twenty years ago.

That's ironic.

Emmitt Smith can be found every Friday evening during football season at the Blue Mesa Tequilla Bar in Terminal D @ DFW. He takes the last DFW-BDL flight every Friday to ESPN for his weekend NFL analyst job. According to the Blue Mesa bartenders, he comes by their bar for an hour or two for a drink and to chat with whomever stops by.

Jerry Rice

I was sitting behind Jerry Rice on AA1499 DFW-SJC on Dec 6, 2007. At first, I didn't think it was him, since were were in the back of coach. Turns out he was flying F on a later flight, but wanted to catch an earlier flight, and coach was all they had.

Figured something was up when there were comping his food and drink. His preferred drink was Baileys on the rocks, by the way.

Assuming you are not being facetious (no winky)? F international lounge (and full fare F on certain transcons) to which YOU have access when flying internationally on OW as an EXP.

Now, that is funny! I had no idea, but did find it curious that in HKG CX lets me in their F lounge, but didn't think AA had equivalent, so I just go to the AC.

Where is the Flagship in LAX? I need to check that out! Thanks!

Sat behind Willie Mays in F, DFW-SFO in October.

On the same trip, while in the Admirals Club Terminal D at DFW, I bumped in to some teenage heart throb-looking guy, with his girlfriend and a couple of AA staffers (who I guess attend to celebrities and VIPs, because I saw one of them escorting Willie Mays on to the plane a short while later) as I boarded and they got out of the elevator. Not being a 14 year old girl, I have no idea who he was. But, my did he have nice hair and skin! :P

If you qualify for entry the AC agents will give you an e-key that gets you in to FL. It's on the same floor as the AC but you need a key to get in.

ORD, JFK, LHR also have FLs. Don't know about JFK but LHR is located right next door to the AC and ORD FL is located at the end of concourse K and you don't need a key for either one but you will see an agent before you are allowed in.

Interesting...I'm flying to NRT later this month and will check it out.

I'll also be sure to ask why they have never offered it before, having been an EXP for the past 3 years. :-)

Don't use your AC membership card. Use your BP + EXP card, and as long as you qualify for entry you should be fine.

The AC agent should see your status when they run your AC membership card but I'm not sure they see your itn unless they pull it up for a reason, so unless you're flying international F then you need to "inform" the agent.
