AA performs great at ORD and NYC (JFK+LGA) during big storm
Great analysis at http://crankyflier.com/2014/01/13/an...k-and-chicago/
Well worth a read. The punchlines: http://crankyflier.com/wp-content/up...ontimecxl1.jpg http://crankyflier.com/wp-content/up...contimecxl.jpg Kudos to the amazing people who run operations at AA ^ And thanks for being transparent with cancellations and delays, and informing us as soon as you have the data (no hiding); it makes a difference! |
Yeah, it was not that bad. My connection to JFK was delayed but the agent at the AC-agent swiftly rerouted me on a US flight to LGA, cabbed to JFK and caught my JFK-SFO connection in time.
Only problem was US took forever to off load the bags at LGA and I had to leave the bags there.. but they eventually made it 48 hrs later (one on a US via CLT, one on an AA via DFW). I think that's still not bad considering the # of flights that had to be cancelled and the havoc the cancellations must hav caused. |
