Baggage allowance / AA and Emirates / AA gold

Baggage allowance / AA and Emirates / AA gold
I have a flight from DFW to LHR on AA, and from LHR - DXB - MAA on Emirates. All flight segments are on one ticket and the baggage allowance shows as 1PC for all flights.
I have AA gold, so would that allow me to take two checked bags? Will I have any problems on the return, when checking in with Emirates?

The additional 1 piece allowance does not apply when conencting to or from Emirates, so may be charged in each direction
You might not be charged on the outbound, but would say it is almost definite for the inbound
