Book JAL ORD->NRT in F x 2 with AA - very pleased.
 

Just a thank you to you guys in the FT forum who helped me navigate this booking.

Also, props to AA for really going to extra mile (with a little pushing) to help me extend my reservation a couple times because my point transfers were taking forever.

All in all, 250,000 points for 2 tickets and virtually no fees. Win win.

Nice to see a "success in booking mileage award" thread for once. Getting a bit tired of people complaining about "disAAdvantage miles" and the like.

Excellent News! Two round trip tickets on JAL in F class would set you back about $28,000, a price that most ordinary people could never hope to afford. Frequent flyer miles can be an amazing currency (when everything works out). :)

Exact flight comes up to $47K on JAL at the moment. Crazy. I worked my tail off to get these booked, but it paid off.
