The original offer, before AA yanked it from their site stated '5% discount on bookings made via aa.com, purchased between Jan 1 and Mar 31, 2002, for travel Jan 1 to May 31, 2002'
Thus, any bookings for travel after May 31st come up 'promo not available'.
