Double Elite Miles for 2013?
Hey everyone,
So it's getting close to end of the year. I'm currently EXP and I just received that message everyone is talking about in another thread entitled related to the STR13 promo.
But my question is whether or not the Double EQM are going to surface again this year. Reason being you ask? Well, I'm going to have to do some mileage runs at the end of the year to re-up my EXP for another year, and I'd like to be able to start looking into what I need to do to requalify.
Anyone have any insight as to whether or not American is offering this again?

A lot of people (as if we needed yet another "gee, I wonder if they'll give me a freebie with DEQM" thread...and, yes...the reasons why people keep asking questions like this is pretty obvious and needs no explanation

It's a Schrodinger's promotion. We won't know if there are or aren't until AA opens the box.

I strongly believe there will be another DEQM promotion this year. Just wait. Come November to December, it'll appear. Don't buy your MRs just yet.

Yes, there is a chance that AA will offer a DEQM promotion in late 2013.

I certainly hope AA do not offer any year-end special for elite status. I'm tired of people getting status with minimal flying.

I think what AA has done this year is very unfair to those who are truly earning EXP, etc.
To be honest, I was furious when AA gave UA people almost instant EXP - very, very unfair.

It does not make sense to offer EQM promo. As a 250K EQM last year EXP - I am currently sitting in the back on an AA flight
