I just tried Nov 28 - Dec 3, it didn't seem to work. I really think AA should make it possible for codeshare as long as they are all marketed as AA. If AA codeshares that flight, I believe they took all the profits because they purchase those seats, right?

I got the promo too. Had two long PE flights on CX this year. Only halfway to regaining Exec Plat status. May not happen for me this year.
I'm guessing AA's trying to round up potentially wandering sheep.

We've bought a bunch of tickets recently, so AA may feel that they have no need to incent us to buy more with a discount. Nothing for me (not sure about mrs. brp). As we have no tickets to buy within the promotion period, it's just as well.
Cheers.

I (multi-year PLT on track to hit EXP this year through paid travel) received nothing.
My wife (no status who never flies on paid tickets) received one.

I did not receive the e-mail. I already have two trips ticketed within the period of the code's validity but I plan to purchase at least one more within that time frame -- I will have to do so without the discount.

Got one, too, what a rarity, I'm always left out! I'm an EXP who has not traveled that much this year.
Terms are more liberal than the Disney 10% codes, you can travel up to Dec 17, good for up to six pax. Has to be used by Sept 8 though.

This is the first time I have gotten one of these. Are they transferable even though they say that they are limited to the recipient? (I wasn't sure if that just limited the number of uses or also limited the user.)
