Just found this fine place and so many of the posts have been helpful, I hope to do the same for you. Orvis has a free shipping offer of 805 that you can enter when placing your order. That and some cheap fishing line scored a partner for me for $2.50 . TTYL

I've had two recent Orvis experiences where my confirmation shows free shipping but my credit card was billed for it. Both times customer service quickly credited me but just thought that I raise the issue on an Orvis thread.

my husband got free shipping about a week ago, but just now even my confirmation email does not show it - shows special offer code 805 but at allowances shows
