Very fortunate for the whole plane that the First Officer was healthy....

Yes it does. Two comments. One thank God for the pilot that they were not somewhere over the Atlantic. Secondly for the passenger, thank God he was not doing HNL from a city where they are now trying to clip corners and use two flight deck only. Thank God this was 136, and they cannot cheat.
