AA miles / US Shuttle

Anybody know how long it takes for US Airways Shuttle flights to post to your AAdvantage account? Did a trip on June 9 and no miles yet...

It normally takes 2-3 weeks. I was on the Shuttle on 8 and 11 June and still have no miles. We should see them within the next week.

How does one get US Air miles to post to your AA miles account?

I'm flying US Air this wknd. DFW->Charlotte, then US Shuttle Charlotte to Columbia.

Thanks, Mo

Only US Airways Shuttle flights between DCA-LGA LGA-BOS and BOS-DCA are eligible for mies. A flight from CLT to CAE is US Airways Express, not Shuttle.

You have to pre-register for the promotion. Check out www.aa.com/aadvantage and the special offers page to find out how

OK. So I waited about two weeks to have Shuttle flights post to my AA account. No luck.

I called the AAdvantage Desk on Saturday. I was instructed to fax my boarding passes and ticket receipt.

I faxed all the required stuff of Monday morning. Haven't seen anything yet in terms of posting.

Is this normal?

When did you do that? I had the impression that you cannot anymore get miles for USAir Shuttle flights, since December 31, 2000.

As it clearly states on AA.com:

"Effective August 23, 2001, US Airways' participation in the AAdvantage program will end. AAdvantage miles may be accrued on US Airways Shuttle flights using the Shuttle Bonus Offer through August 23, 2000 as scheduled."

Hmmmm, maybe that isn't so clear. In any case, you can still earn 500 AA miles on US Air Shuttle flights until August 23. I'm really going to miss this program.

I flew the shuttle (BOS-DCA round trip) last October. When the miles didn't post after a month I wrote to AA. They said it's up to US Airways to send AA the info, so I'd have to write to US. I did. After the second letter, they finally posted.

Hope you have better luck than that!
