new to AA -- are they slow to post ff miles ?

Hi all. I am new to flying AA (sort of). I notice that my flight from 6 days ago has not posted to aa.com. Is this normal ? I know on other airlines the flights tend to post within a day or two.

Thanks.

American is slower than most airlines, but I find that most all flights post within a week.

The exception is the first two weeks of January, which have no postings at all until after AA's computers complete maintenance.

For most of mine ( especially flights with codeshares ), it takes just almost 2 weeks to post.

But they do come finally, so worry not!
It's such a lovely morning!

AA.com usually post miles about a week after your flight.

There own flights generally post within a week. US hotels take a bit longer, but miles from partners such as overseas hotels and car hires can take much longer
