Admirals Club ORD Question

We recently became members of the Admirals Club so not real familiar with facilities. We have a VERY early flight and do not live close to Ohare airport. We were thinking of checking in the night before and staying in the Admirals Club and catching some sleep. Do they have lounge chair like seating where you can put your feet up (recliners)? My hubby said he'll feel like a bum but hey it would beat getting up at 2 am. Anyone very familiar with this AC? Thanks so much!!!

The admirals club is not open all night long.

They open at 5 am and close at 10 pm.

I'm in the same situation, living about 1-2 hours from LAX, depending on traffic.

I know many people who just go to LAX the night before an early flight and get a hotel room. There are some hotels near the airport that have "park and fly" rates, where you get a certain number of nights parking with your one night's stay.

That might work for you. OTOH, I usually just get up at 2am.

The Hilton right at ORD would be an option, although you'd want to snag a good rate. A web search turned up this site too: http://www.parksleepfly.com/chicago-...rking-ord.html With some other hotel properties that offer room + parking specials close to ORD. I've never personally used that site though.

Another vote for the Hilton. It's connected to the terminal, so you can just walk from the hotel to airport checkin/security.

There are many great options for staying near ORD the evening before your flight plus you could plan to make an evening of it with a nice dinner. Most have some type of complimentary shuttle too. Last fall I stayed at the Hampton on Manhiem and it was pretty nice. Recently remodeled. The Westin was good a couple years ago too.

For an early flight out of ORD a hotel the night before is the way to go if you aren't close. I've done it several times. The commute from the far west burbs (St. Charles) is too far for me for an early flight.

The link for ParkSleepFly has a good rate for Hyatt Regency ($119) including parking for up to 14 nights ... Regency has covered parking, and that's not too far from what you'd pay for parking alone for the that duration. Not bad an option at all!

I stay there nearly weekly and it's a nice hotel

I suppose it isn't useful to you anymore (no AC is open 24 hours, by the way), but there are lounge chairs in the ORD H/K AC. I think there are 2? There might be 4. Not too many though.

I'd second the Hilton at the airport if you want to overnight at ORD.

Admirals Club ORD Question

I've had good experiences with the Hyatt regency. It's great for overnight connections, but never done the park and fly since I don't live in the region.

The Hilton is great just because it's connected to the terminal. Walk from your room to the gate. Call the FD (not the 800#) to see what you can scrounge up for a rate. Often much better than the website.

If you are driving, at least 2 of the Marriotts with free shuttles to ORD have a stay/fly deal where you can park free for a week or so. I've done this at the Suites:
