Unwarranted rolley-eyes aside, there's a thread about this. Please let's stick to the TOS and keep on topic here!

no, it's not. the flag is correct for the way it would be flying when the plane is moving

Sorry, it's just plane ugly. I didin't think AA could top the UC (University of California) logo debacle, but congrats - you did it.

FWIW, I will encourage Doug Parker and friends to keep the existing AA livery (not that they'll listen to me, of course).

No valued added on this change.

so, did they actually introduce new stuff like more 300s to more routes? or just facelifts of their logo?

Yuck, I really hate the tails. Too busy. Plus I really dislike how we in the US love to slap our flag on everything. If you're going to do it, be a little more discreet about it. It always bothers me to see our flag featured so prominently in a corporations' color scheme; makes me feel like it cheapens the flag to use it so obviously in marketing. But I'm weird like that.

Typically a fair number of American's planes have been involved in sale/lease back transaction so it isn't surprising to see someone else own them.

Nope, it's just a new look for the planes, after about 45 years of the old look.

I was aware of that, just didn't know the companies involved.

The tail reminds me much more of Cubana than of Air France.

The AF tail is elegant while AA looks disproportionate and bulky. When I first saw it I really thought of Cubana de Aviacion, quite ironic!

Somewhat disappointing but I guess we'll get used to it
