AC for MSP????

AA has good presence in Msp. No connections to NYC and Miami together with ORD and DFW. Probably similar to UA which has a UC. Would be nice to have AC there. Is there any chance? Anyway to make a case directly to AA? Thanks

Don't hold your breath. It's highly unlikely AA would open a lounge at MSP.

I personally don't see any chance of an AC opening at MSP, but I'm not an AA exec nor do I play one on TV.

If you'd like to lobby AA, you could perhaps send a note to the Admirals Club folks and Customer Relations folks.

If you have full (not select through AmEx or a bank) Priority Pass, you can use the UA club. It's very close to the AA gates at MSP.

AA hasn't opened up a new Admirals Club in ages. Rather, they have been closing them. MCI/IAD/SJC/PTY/FRA/SEA to name a few in the past decade. Sure they've been renovating clubs but we haven't seen a completely new club in a while. Even BNA which opened within that period was merely a reopening of an AC that had been there before

So long story short, it doesn't seem likely

MSP has Ike's, which is better than any AC when it comes to pulling together a great drink or something to munch on.

It looks to me like MSP and SEA have around the same number of daily AA seats (SEA may actually have a slight edge since much of MSP's service appears to be on Eagle), and SEA hasn't had an AC in years. I agree with All American Flyer, I don't see it happening.
