Connection Advice Needed LAX T-2 to T-4

I have an itinerary coming up that involves a change from HA (T-2) to AA (T-4) on a Monday afternoon. I originally had well over two and a half hours to connect, but due to an AA schedule change, I now have exactly an hour and a half, 15:25-16:55. I've done a few searches here on FT, and it would appear that my options are:

A. Leave the secured area, take a shuttle bus to T-4, and clear security.
B. Leave the secured area and walk to T-4.
C. Stay inside the secured area by taking the shuttle from T-3 to the American Eagle remote location and then on to T-4. There seem to be varying accounts of how easy/possible this is, but I trust FTers to give me their recent experiences.

I had hoped to enjoy some time in the AC before my onward flight, so I would like to do this the quickest way. (IMHO, the LAX club is one of the best!) FWIW, I'm a fast walker, unencumbered by lots of luggage or kids, and I am flying F on both legs, so I will be first off the HA flight and qualify for the expedited security line at T-4. Thanks in advance for advice.

Just take a quick walk to T-4. it's not that far (T3 -> TBIT -> T4) and you should have plenty of time left to spend at AC if your inbound flight is not late.

or you can cut across the parking structure. Security over at T4 will not take that long. The shuttle to go to the eagle terminal will take longer but its a nice ride if you like to see the tarmac of an airport.

Just exit T2, cross the ground-level roadways, go left (east) slightly and then head across toward T5 (south) so you'll pass to the left of the theme building. When you get to T5 go to the upper level on an elevator or escalator. At T4 the priority access entrance is the first door after the "velvet rope" type entrance.

As far as I know, there is no longer an airside shuttle between T3 and T4.

Two months ago, September '12, I made the opposite transfer: Eagle remote terminal to T-2. At that time, I could find no hint, by looking or asking, of an airside transfer from Eagle or T-4 to T-2 or T-3. I may have missed it, but it wasn't for lack of looking.

The landside walk is short and pleasant. No need for a shuttle bus.

I appreciate the quick responses, folks. Looks like I will be taking the walk as that is the quickest way. Cheers and happy travels!

Keaauflyer, your going from HA to AA. Question, are those flights on the same ticket? If you purchased seperate tickets on each airline for each flight, I am pretty sure that you will have to retrieve your bags from HA and check them with AA.

It's all on one AAward ticket, and I'm not checking bags anyway. BTW, you are quite correct about HA's unfortunate new interline policy. Thanks for pointing this out because you may help others who read this avoid some last-minute hassles.

No one should ever have to experience "security" more than once per direction. Take the airside transfer route if it's available.

+1!

However, it's easier to just walk.

However, take the airside transfer just to stick it to the man, on principle! :D

While I certainly appreciate the point of view of those who wish to avoid the TSA pageant whenever possible, my goal is to spend maximum time in the AC. I'm walking.
