How to use AAdvantage companion pass and get statement credit
hey guys,
I signed up for both citi AAdvantage cards (visa and amex) using the two browser trick. As part of the sign up bonus, they offered me a companion pass and a $100 statement credit on AA purchases per card. I know the companion pass has all sorts of restrictions on airfare and I am not sure how to properly search prices for these seats. Also if I use my card to purchase the ticket I should get $100 discount right?

Statement credit
I received statement credit, when I paid tax on an AA reward ticket. I was surprised.
