Bonus miles from purchase of miles before 31 Dec 11
Hi
I purchased some miles on 31 december 2011. The bonus miles are supposed to post within 6 to 8 weeks of the end of the promotion. We hit 8 weeks on Saturday. I was just wondering if anyone has received their bonus miles yet.
Cheers

i called about this yesterday because i had two transactions for the 6k bonus. no miles and they said they extended the promo through Jan so I had to wait. No happy. I bought them for an award and i'm 12k short!

Certainly not encouraging for someone like me, who bought miles just before the 31Jan deadline which was then extended by a month to end of February!
If they are treating all of it (Dec/Jan/Feb) as one promotion, then I guess no-one's going to get any bonus miles till up to 8 weeks after the end of February...? For the same reason as everyone else who's waiting for their bonus miles, I sincerely hope this is not going to be the case.

Are you talking about the bonus EQM? DEQAA?

I was hanging on to book a F award, I guess i will just book the J award now. Does anybody know that once I get the miles and if the F award is still available can i change that without penalty?

AFAIK, it is not a written benefit, but most agents will waive the fee if you are upgrading to a higher cabin.

Yes true. zero bonus miles, but my AAvantage balance is currently sitting at -7000+. That's negative 7K, 'cause I was able to ticket my AAward booking with CS knowing I was short the 15K from the bonus.
I have to say, AA has been good to us over the years.
