SJC-NRT reinstated -- but on ANA, not AA
Interesting that ANA thinks they can make money where AA failed. Could be because ANA has a hub in Tokyo, although given the AA/JAL JBV I would think AA would be able to benefit from connecting NRT traffic too.
http://www.mercurynews.com/bay-area-news/ci_19592406 After a four-year courtship with All Nippon Airways, Mineta San Jose International Airport once again will have nonstop, regular service to Tokyo. And at the same time ANA announced SEA-NRT service which was axed by AA just after 9/11.

ANA is going to use the 787 on the route. Im sure many SFO travelers who want to go to Tokyo will simply take it for the 787
