What? You've been here on FT for a long time and never used ITA?! :D

The "::" notation is from the old version, but it should work in the current one; I use "::" because it's faster to type it than to click to open another field.

You whippersnappers with your fancy-pants programs! Until now, AA.com was good enough for me, by gum!:D

Back in my day we had to telnet to easysabre. None of these hoity-toity "websites." Kids have no gumption these days. Where's my postum?!

I'll post one I found for January....could be useful for some....FLL-HNL $607ai

JAN 23-24 FLL-ORD-LAX-HNL-LAX-ORD-FLL $614ai

(I also saw ~$680 for NYC/BOS-HNL)

LAX-ORD-FLL-DFW-LAX
264 a/i same day return. 5280 x 2 = 10560 miles
~2.6cpm, but you gain same day return.

I'd rather just fly LAX-ORD-LAX for 10470 EQM/RDM (assuming PLT bonus). That is available for 219 a/i, and takes a lot less time. You give up a lot by not flying a matched pair of segments that qualify for DEQ11.

BDL-DFW-SEA-DFW-HOU-DFW-BDL $379 all in

7100 eqm
7100 EXP
7100 DEQM

21,300 MILES .18 A MILE :)

not completely sure if DEQ11 and DEQAA can be combined...

AA's official spokesperson has confirmed in writing that the answer is yes - and some have reported that the LAX-ORD and DFW-LAX segments that you proposed do qualify for DEQ11 - so I think your estimate of 10560 EQM for the itinerary you proposed may be low.

Anyone seeing any good fares for us Europeans? Seeing some old reliables around the €520 (MAN/LHR-SFO rtn €380 two years ago!) mark but 2 trips would leave about 500 miles short of PLAT.

Why are EQM and RDM equal? I thought EQM would be 3x the base mileage and PLT RDM would be 2x.

DEQ11 doubles both EQM RDM. base + PLT bonus + DRDM = 3x

Everyone is posting awesome fares. I have a question though, I always thought that in order to earn the DEQM that you must have a fare booked into First/Business. Am I correct or wrong in thinking this?

Wrong. There are bonuses for flying first/business, but that's another kettle of fish from this promo.

As in past DEQM promotions, that thread becomes long and cumbersome to find good fares posted to take advantage of this opportunity. And, as in the past, I'll start a thread DEDICATED to posting only good fares that will meet the qualifications of the promotions.

Thanks

SEA-DFW-ATL-DFW-SEA 9564 EQM for $300 ($0.031/eqm) - EXP for $3,300 if you can manage 10 RTs

==================MODERATOR NOTE=====================

For the terms and conditions, and discussion, of DEQAA, please read this thread.

It would be great if discussion about the promotion and DEQM could be directed to the thread Mod JDiver linked and keep this thread for fares.
