You'll still get double RDM on ORD-SFO under the other promo (assuming you qualified for the other promo for CA/IL/TX, guessing with a destination of AUS that you did), this is only for double EQM.

Thank you, AA!

With my travel in January getting DEQM and all the future travel already booked for the year, I'll be EXP sooner than expected next year.

Glad I didn't book any more SFO-ORD RTs as this will not be last of these DEQMs for 2012. At least it should take some of the pressure for upgrades off of LAX/SFO-DFW/ORD.

I am going to spin this as damage control for the SFO/LAX promotion.

They could have told us earlier (I already booked 2 trips on DL in January), but doubling my 2 sets of AA transcons in January will still give me an extra 12k EQMs towards 2013 status.

Wow. I'm now going to accumulate 85,204 EQM in the next month.

If I add in another trip, I could requalify for EXP by the end of January.

Did I say wow?

Given how easy it has become to pick up EQMs, AA should really do something for hitting 125k, 150k, 200k etc. It doesn't have to be as big as the SWUs that used to be given, but something (published/announced) would be nice.

Do it! ^

I'm only going to have 48326 EQMs, though I do have another 6000 with a flight the first week of February. From kettle to AA PLT within 40 days!

(I know, this is EXACTLY what the already elites on the board are fearing with this)
