She's a breath of fresh air.

I guess she kinda looks like Terry Gross.

(Sorry, bad humor.)

She is one of the best that has ever happened to AA. She brings a bit of humanity to an airline that has historically been a stiff corporate entity.

Maya needs a seat at the AMR corporate board table

Maya is the only reason I collected close to 2 million MMM's (More Maya Miles) in the last two years from American Airlines partners to become lifetime Platinum.

Interesting interview. I'm amazed that her email introducing the video had a 50% open rate. That is remarkable.

She does seem to have a nice personality, but she's also very quick on her feet - she managed not to say one word of any real substance in that interview!

I'm gonna bet that her FT fan club would be appreciably smaller if she was a dude.

Once she adds online partner award booking, eliminates YQ on partner awards and stops the game-playing with MileSAAver premium award availability, we can schedule the parade.

Very interesting interview, indeed! I don't think it is devoid of content. It set the style, explained some of the imperatives and their balanced approach to loyalty program. I will wait and see how she steers this in the midst of their current business crisis.

I agree....Until partner awards are not searchable online, Maya should not get her FULL credit.
