Lifetime Gold 35k bonus miles disappearance [now resolved]
One week ago, I made lifetime gold and requested that my 8 stickers be converted to 35,000 AA miles. The CSR happily processed my request and deposited the 35k bonus miles into my account. As checked my account this afternoon, the 35k bonus miles had disappeared and my sticker balance was empty. I will contact AA tomorrow and discuss this disappearance of AA miles.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

do you really think it's not just a temporary, easily-correctable glitch, really??

As many things in the mileage earning game, some things just take time...

UPDATE:
As I checked my AA account, I noticed that they miles were deposited into my account this morning, so it appears the issue was caused by a glitch. However, it's still odd that the miles would disappear overnight and return in the morning.

I don't have any experience with any other FFP, so I don't know how it compares, but I've always found AA.com to be a little glitchy. My mantra is usually "hmm...let's give it a few more days..." and then call web services or AAdvantage CS if necessary.
Glad to see your miles came back (correctly). ^
[font="comic sans ms"]I've also updated the thread title to indicate that the issue has since been resolved. /Moderator[font]
