Surprised in a good wAAy
So AA is not my favourite airline (especially after the HKG-JFK fiasco a few months ago). So when I had a few thousand miles stranded in my and Mrs. DaveTO's AAccounts, I redeemed it for a YYZ-LAS award ticket.
Total cost: $60 in taxes.
Redeeming the same ticket for an AC operated flight using Aeroplan would have been almost $200.
Just wanted to give a shout-out.
