1000 bonus miles for completing online survey (Non-US members only)

Just received the latest "American Airlines Travel" magazine which contains an offer of 1000 bonus miles for completing a short online survey. It only takes a couple of minutes and doesn't appear to be targetted:

http://www.surveyaa.com/aadvantage

T&C state valid for non-US members only. Survey must be completed by 1st November

There is also an offer of 1000 bonus miles for subscribing to the esummary email if you're not currently receiving it. You need to sign up by 31/12/11. Miles will be posted 4-6 weeks after remaining subscribed for 3 months. Again, it states the offer is for non-US members only

Terms & Conditions:
AAdvantage® bonus miles do not count toward elite-status qualification. Bonus miles will be posted to your account within 4-6 weeks once you have completed the survey. AAdvantage members can take the survey once during the offer period and earn a maximum of 1,000 bonus miles for taking the survey. Offer available until November 1, 2011.

I am not seeing where it says for non-US members only? Maybe the eyes are deceptive. lol

took the survey anyway

The non-US members bit was mentioned in the magazine. Also, on the second page of the survey its states "American Airlines and the AAdvantage® program are interested in your opinions of our AmericanAirlines Travel magazine. This magazine is published twice a year for our non-US AAdvantage customers."

Judging by the amount of times I've been credited miles from promos that were supposedly only open to US residents, you may well get the miles anyway

I did it on both our accounts though we have US addresses. It costs nothing but 5 minutes to do. Thanks OP!

Well, I just happen to be outside the US at the moment, so maybe this will work. We'll see in 4-6 weeks. Thanks OP. tls

I was slightly hesitant to enter my name and AAdvantage number into some random website. The whois for surveyaa.com comes up:
AA Publishing
MD 5374
4333 Amon Carter Blvd
Fort Worth, Texas 76155

So, seems to be legit as far as I can tell.

Edit: Also: Thanks, britenbsas.
