BOS-ORD scheduled reductions
JetBlue Airways will increase thrice-daily Boston-Chicago O'Hare service to four-times-daily Sept. 7
May explain the BOS-ORD currently loaded reductions from 10 to 9 to 8 by Nov 17
Winter 2010/11 schedule was 9X

I wonder if they have a new computer program that automatically reduces a frequency everytime B6 increases one, in every market at every turn.

Seasonal reductions??? SEA-DFW goes from about 10 in the summer to 7 or 8 in the winter. I would assume that winter is not the peak travel season to BOS.

Ever thought that maybe, just maybe, AA is simply adjusting to the typical winter schedule, where it reduces capacity in some places, especially domestic Chicago capacity, to reallocate it to Caribbean, Miami and South America flying? Or is that just way too obvious for people to understand?
You realize how incredibly moronic your comparison is? Compare the December 2010 BOSORD schedule to the December 2011 BOSORD schedule, and then determine what/if/how AA is reducing capacity in this market.
Let's not use common sense, here.

People don't want to go to Chicago over the winter unless you absolutely have to.
