(I'm not entirely sure, but I remember this topic coming up when I was discussing these types of promos with another contest/program. I was told that in order to collect data from residents of other countries, then sponsor has to deal with all the privacy/legal issues with EVERY country. So in order to simply things, sponsors restrict to certain countries where they already understand how to manage the privacy and data of that country's residents.)

Anyone else think the ARV of $597 is suspiciously (or maybe serendipitously) just below the $600 1099-MISC filing requirement?

I doubt they have the data on actual usage to support it, but nearly 2 cpm is probably high on average. Sure, experience FT's may get 4 or even 5 cpm, but most people will drop 25/30 of that award on a domestic rt...and possibly pay AA for short notice booking to boot.

Be sure and unsubscribe from all AA emails. Five years ago one of the 25 deals in 25 days was miles for subscribing to all the emails.
