Any chance of Upgrade from coach using miles

Any chance of Upgrade from coach using miles

I have an upcoming trip to Germany and was wondering what if any upgrade options exist that are not to expensive. I realize there might be a co-pay with miles, but some times they are just plain outrages.

I have AA-GOLD status about 16k shy of PLAT.

DFW-FRA flight 70 Thru Dec 2 Booked 'O' fare class and have roughtly 200k miles to use.

Basically what if any upgrade options exist.

This is a very basic question that's answered in the Flyertalk FAQ (at the top of the page where it says, "Please check here firts!") and on the AA website.

How can I upgrade on AA?

I don't know what you would consider outrageous, but there is a copay involved. You've got plenty of miles.
