Perfect timing, I have 2 trips booked already, and a possible 3rd one. the miles will come in handy.

*Includes First Class and Business Class fares booked in F, A, J, R, D or I; Economy Class fares booked in Y, B or H on American Airlines operated flights; First Class or Club World fares booked in F, A, J, R, C, D or I; World Traveller Plus or full-fare World Traveller booked in W, E, T, Y, B or H on British Airways operated flights; Business Class fares booked in J, C, D, R or I; Economy Class fares booked in Y on Iberia operated flights; OpenSkies Prem Plus (booking classes W, E, T, Z, A), OpenSkies Eco booked in Y, B, H.
I've seen some OpenSkies flight from EWR-ORY for 1500 US$ RT...

AA gives full EQMs, 110% RDMs and 1.5 EQPs for T class...

so a RT would give you 7298 EQMs and 34596 RDMs (100% bonus EXP/Plat) and 20k miles each roundtrip, still not a good deal...

wonder if anyone can find a cheap BA T class fare...

Pretty much anywhere in the Northeast-LHR is $1800-1900 RT in T during the promo period. BOS-LHR is cheapest at $1815. Not quite worth doing just for the miles.

Nice little offer from AA here.

Also, when did they start flying an A380-esque bird?!

I have an open-jaw ORD-LHR-GVA//DUB-ORD in paid business class, but unless I'm missing something I won't get squat.

I don't see anything in the T/C that would exclude your flight from being eligible from the promo

I believe the poster was wondering if an open-jaw would "count" as a round trip as it is defined in the promotion. Here's the only text from the promo, though:

A round-trip is defined as travel in the same purchased booking class for both the departure and the return transatlantic flight segments.
I would imagine further clarity would be needed from someone with AA?

Yeah, this was my issue. Isn't open jaw a type of roundtrip, technically?

Also, the other thing that confused me was that in the original e-mail that AA sent it said:
Choose from six daily nonstop flights on American Airlines or British Airways from Chicago to London. You can also fly nonstop on American to Manchester and Paris or fly on Iberia to Madrid. And, starting April 11, American begins nonstop service to Dusseldorf.
So I originally thought it was limited to those cities, (i.e. DUB not included) but it doesn't seem to be in the T&Cs.

Cheapest I've found is 954 Euros out of ORY on OpenSkies... better than the NYC rate but not that much better... I think there is a $165 off BA PE link out there somewhere... opps.. Discount is only on flights ex-USA...
any tips for better cities?

In the past for most of these promos the fare classes listed, were the only ones to be used. For this promo they use the wording: "includes...", are the cheap "O" fares excluded?
