AAGift Miles from Multiple People?

Although the posted maximum of AA Gift Miles is 15,000, is it possible to receive multiple 15,000 mile gifts from several people?

Since the question is about American Airlines miles, I'll move this to the AAdvantage forum.

Welcome to FlyerTalk! Google is your friend, but do stick around, as FlyerTalk is as well - there is much to learn, grasshopper! (Yes, you can receive up to 40,000 miles in total per year.)

Points.com Terms and Conditions (in part):

Each AAdvantage member is limited to receiving, in a calendar year, a combined total of no more than forty thousand (40,000) AAdvantage miles. Miles purchased through the buyAAmiles program or received as a gift through the giftAAmiles program both count against this total.

Using the shareAAmiles program, each AAdvantage member is limited to receiving no more than fifteen thousand (15,000) AAdvantage miles, and may transfer no more than sixty thousand (60,000) AAdvantage miles out of their AAdvantage account in a calendar year.

Any AAdvantage miles purchased or transfered in excess of such amount will not be posted to the member’s account, regardless whether payment has been remitted for such AAdvantage miles, and American Airlines has no obligation to reimburse such remitted amounts.

This member is not talking about gifting. They are mistaking gifting for sharing. Sharing has a cap of 15k from one to another with a yearly acceptance cap of 60k.

Gifting is the same as buying, just for someone else

One clarification here - the T&C state that the yearly donation cap is 60k. However, a given account can only receive 15K per year.
