Who: STL based 50 yo F, Director of Marketing for Software Tech Co, as well as event planning and consulting on the side.
When: Gold as of 12/15/09 due to DBLEQM ^. Member since 1998.
How: All of my travel is for work, mostly trade shows. One MR on 12/15 to make it (thanks to the kind folks on FT).
Where: LAS, ATL x5, PHL, MIA, TPA x3, JAX, DFW, FLL
Why: To ease the grind a bit. Exit row will be great and an upgrade once in a while appreciated.
What: While I haven't booked yet, travel should be more in 2010. Possibly a trip to BCN to get me toward PLT.

Who: 23-year old management/strategy consultant.
When: Went from zero to EXP in four months: Started out with no status in May, and ended up EXP in August. I've had status with AF and EK for the past 3-4 years so far, though I'll probably lose AF next year.
How: AA is almost 100% business travel, and AF and EK are 100% personal. No MRs whatsoever, but DEQM definitely helped getting to EXP. Without it, it would have taken until October at least. So far all of my flying has been on AA but I'm beginning to throw some BA into the mix, as well as CX.
Where: AUS, DFW, ORD, BOS, LHR, DXB, HPN, MCO, SFO, JFK, LGA, LAX, SAT, IAH, HOU, AMS, CDG, BOM - no particular order (though AUS, DFW and BOS got most of my flying).
Why: Upgrades, and ease of upgrading on AA. If it weren't for them I'd probably (definitely) be a CO flyer.
What: With the exception of losing status on AF, no changes. Will most likely make EXP again next, even without a DEQM style promo.

Who: 28 year old government employee with a passion for travel.
When: Collected my first frequent flyer mile in May with American and made EXP this month.
How: 95% of my travel is personal. I do have to travel for work sometimes, but being based in Chicago and a government employee, UA has most of the contract routes to my destinations. I hadn't traveled much at all prior to May, but it has always been something I've talked about doing. My New Year'ss resolution was to finally get around to living my life so I bought my first ticket and haven't looked back since. Luckily my job allows me to be pretty flexible with my vacation time, and I've seen a lot of the world this year.
Where: On AA and OW partners I have hit NRT x 3, BKK, LAX, SEA x 2, DFW X 2, ATL, DCA, STL, DCA x 3, MEX, and EZE. Sadly I did have to go to ATH and CDG on AF and DL, but I couldn't pass up those $250 ai fares!
Why: Now that I've figured out how to travel, I don't plan on stopping. I'll be headed back to NRT to visit family a few times in 2010, as well as plans to head to DEL and PVG. Those SWUs will come in handy.
What: Just enjoying traveling and seeing the world.
