MIA Lounge Access

Flying on AA from PHL to AUA via MIA...AA calls it first in the PHL - MIA leg and Business in the MIA - AUA leg (and reverse).

Have a couple hour + layover in MIA each way. Will we be able to access any lounge in MIA on this routing?

Thanks for any info/suggestions...

Did you try AA.com?
AA Lounge Access Polices

AUA is in the Caribbean, which does not allow complimentary lounge access when traveling in Business (unless you hold Sapphire or higher status from a OW airline other than AA).

If you hold:
1) QP membership
2) certain eligible AMEX Platinum cards
...then you can use the Admirals Clubs. Otherwise, you can cough up US$50 for a Daypass to visit all clubs accessible to you en route. Same on the return.

Thanks for the info...I think. To me the AA web sites is less than easy to read/understand.

Our tickets are paid tickets ($), not reward tickets...if that matters.

Based on the flights you included in OP - no lounge access.

There are other ways in, and they include a day pa$$, holding an AMEX Platinum card or elite memberships in AA partner FF programs.

Did you also check the Forum FAQ? Post #28 seems pretty clear, and has some worthwhile links. It matters not - no access from your tickets.

3. Or just buy a membership. Take advantage of the $70 offer.
By the wsy, you can register for the offer now and take up to a year to use it.

4. Beg for a member to guest you in.
