Award Flight Change During a Stopeover

Will I be allowed to change the date of award flight during the stopeover, free of charge ? I booked LHR-LAX-HNL, with a stopover in LAX but now I am not sure if I will be able to go to HNL on that date.

Yes, you can make changes of partially used award tickets (same rules apply).

I'm going to reread the wiki and update it if necessary.

Thank you hillrider for the very fast reply. This is what I was hoping for.

yes ... as long as you dont change the carrier or partner. on our last europe trip ... i was able to change the BA segment flights while i was in Paris. They have a local number in paris and i used a public phone while the wife and kids were shopping at champ Elysees and they not only changed the flights ... but i got some taxes back ... since the exchange rates had changed.

Not true: you can change carrier as the rules allow, but you will incur a fee to do so as the rules state.
