What is the increase here
Dallas-Los Angeles: 8x S80/6x 738/1x 763/1x 757 to 8x S80/6x 738/1x 763/1x 757

It looks the same to me.

Looks like MIA-RSW is increasing to 3 a day not 4 as orginally predicted. Still good news though.

That explains a lot. Thanks for clearing things up. Believe it not, some people actually favor brevity over content.

Thumbs down Too Bad

It's really too bad, if you ask me. I'm BOS-based and head to MSN or MKE 6+ times per year. The STL connection on mainline with the F upg BOS-STL was a great option to avoid ORD in the Summer (thunderstorms) and the winter (snow) and sometimes in the Spring and Fall just to avoid the uncertainty of ORD craziness/ATC problems/unexplained OSO's/etc.

Definitley will not choose to fly to MSN via STL on AE both legs. If they moved it to a CR with an F cabin I'd give it a try, though.

The St. Louis hub closes in April. It wouldn't be an option regardless.

Looks like quite a CR7 pulldown. Are they shuffling them to the longer routes ex-ORD? Or are they taking a bunch out of the schedule to do the F refit?

It will either by 9F/56Y or 6F/60Y. The former is preferred, but might make the cabin too cramped.

Hopefully we will see JNB one day. It's a big local market. Though maybe we could see it with 787s or 777LRs. I don't think AA would bother operating it absent a non-stop, so it will be a while.

I think AA could do fine operating MIA-LOS-JNB with a 763, but I don't think AA is interested in taking the risk.

If Europe-U.S. travel sees an upswing in 2010, we will likely see MIA-MXP/BCN added in November 2010.
Has anyone even see these as a ticketing option yet? Still looking into July and not one flight on a CR7 on my routes (MSP/ORD/PHL) show anything but economy class. Since undeniably the #1 perk of being Exec is the free next level of service, space available, upgrade, and that there has not been from what I can see an actual implementation of 2 class service in the CR7's, are they waiting until April to spring upon everyone, ruining most's chances to go to another carrier and make top tier on them, forcing you stay with AA another year?

Am I being Paranoid? Maybe... but a paranoid man is rarely surprised.

read the CR7 thread. the F seats are initially showing up in the system as plain old coach seats, apparently.

I'm not sure whether it's good timing or bad to run those new tags ex-PAP...but I'm guessing that the crew doesn't overnight in Haiti!

All PAP service is turn-around.

Eagle does not fly to Haiti right now. The route is a new daily SJU-PAP service, stopping in STI or SDQ on alternate days. There is a huge Haitian community in both Santiago and Santo Domingo, and while there is scheduled air service, it is on unreliable, small local carriers, many of which come and go within a year.

Of course, this was loaded before yesterday's very sad events, but I don't think that air demand is likely to decrease. Given the geography of the island and what will be a multi-year rebuilding process, a reliable link between Port Au Prince and the Dominican Republic's two largest cities can actually become an important lifeline for cargo and aide. What originally turned out to be a VFR route might become something more important.

This isn't actually an increase, just a return, thankfully!

ORD-HNL (73)
HNL-ORD (72)

Appears scheduled for 06/01/10.

Yeah!
