As mentioned in the oneWorld forum, there is a new OW lounge at ZRH right across from Dnata.

OW had larger wine selection.

Dnata has Kägi fret. Which BTW, anybody know if it is available in the US or Germany? I stopped by Rewe in Dusseldorf and couldn't find it. I know it is Swiss but considering these are bordering countries, I was hoping to find it in Germany.

Shower Facilities at ZRH

I will be flying in on a red-eye AA flight to ZRH. I see that new OW lounge doesn't have shower facilities.

What are my options?

I see that Swiss Lounge is on Priority Pass list. Anyone had success with that? Swiss lounge is in D, while AA flies into A

ZRH / Zurich Contract (Dnata Skyview) Lounge (consolidated)

AA actually flies into E (unless they changed it in the past 30 days).

Priority Pass gives you access to more than one LX lounge. Not sure if the one in D have showers. The main one (in Schengen) does. The lounge will scan boarding pass even if you have PP. not sure if they care if you are not on a departing flight.

There are paid entry shower facilities at ZRH.

Gate A49 should be in A, right?

I'll probably use one of those paid shower facilities.

If I had to place a bet on whether AA is arriving in A gates or aa.com has faulty info, I'll bet on the later.

A and B gates are in Schengen. AA has to arrive in E (or D gates). My last three trips to ZRH within the past 120 days have always been in E.

Question Admiral's Club oneday pass use in ZHR?

I will be in ZHR for 4 hours Saturday morning, I have two one-day admiral club passes from the Citi AA card. AA's website says "Must present Admirals Club membership card (or 30 Day Membership receipt)", but does not list one-day passes unlike most of the other lounges on the site, does anyone know if I can still get in with the one-day passes?

Also, the website just lists terminal 2 as the location, anyone have any more specific directions?

There is no Admirals Club in Zurich (ZRH, not ZHR - using the proper designator makes it possible for members to search), so you can not use a one day pass to access the lounge AA uses.

Club members do have access, with up to two guests. Whilst a one day pass is strictly that - a pass to Admirals Clubs sensu stricto for one person for one day, a thirty day membership is a membership with all the rights and privileges of an annual membership, and only members have access to the Zurich oneworld Lounge (the day of AA flight). See the Wikipost for information and links.

Admirals Club member plus two guests or immediate family (under the age of 18). Must present boarding pass* and Admirals Club membership card for same day travel on AA marketed and operated flight*. Not valid for arriving guests.
This has been merged with the existing thread on Zurich lounge access.

ZRH arrival lounge options?

I have an upcoming JFK-ZRH and haven't flown this route since the LX partnership ended years ago.

Are there any options at ZRH for AA arriving pax for showers -- even if paid?

I did find this old thread from 2006, but seemed so dated I didn't use it as a basis for this post -- mods please feel free to merge as needed. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...-lounge-2.html
