Do Elite bonus miles post concurrent with flight miles?

Do Elite bonus miles post concurrent with flight miles?
As a new elite, I was surprised to see that no bonus miles were posted to my account after my last two flights. Does HP do a "sweep," posting the miles once every few weeks? Or should the miles post along with my status miles?

Mine typically post at the same time as the base miles. If they don't post within a day or two, call them. Something is likely wrong.

I am a new, 2003 "comped" Silver already close to Silver again for 2004. Sometimes my bonus miles have been posted immediately and then sometimes it seems to have taken a few days or weeks. BTW, They comped me in February and gave me elite bonuses for back to January. Very classy.
