PE seat for non-ANA AMC member?
 

hi, everybody!

I am a DIA member and planning to fly to NRT from LAX with my friend in the end of this month, he is not an AMC member or any STAR airliners member. Do you guys think its possible for him to have a PE seat with me if the seat is available on the day of departure?
any experience and response are good!

The benefit is not extended other than the elite member. So in reality the answer you will get is no. It won't hurt to ask.

The only way he can offically get into PE is to buy a full fare Y ticket which is really expensive.

I think (although I've never tried it out) that if you're booked on the same reservation that your guest can join you in PE.

I recently travelled from LHR to NRT and was booked in M class, but asked at check-in about any spare seats in PE. They offered a seat in PE, no problem. I am not a member of ANA, but am *silver with SQ. THough I think this makes no difference....

Will try my luck again on the return next week
