Family award booking issue

Family award booking issue

I registered my dad's account using ANA Family Services, I saw the 1000 miles disappear a week ago, and I see him listed under AFA Member List. So then I transferred some MRs over and went to book a ticket. When I select "Check when logged in user will not be traveling" and then go to the passenger information page, I get this message:

Information

The reservation cannot be processed because no family member who is able to use awards has been registered, or the registered details are insufficient.

Please check the registration details through Award User Registration and try applying again.
In order for persons other than the member to use Award tickets, please make your reservation after first carrying out Award User Registration.

Help! I can't get through the phone lines. Already transferred the miles! Already paid 1000 for family registration 2 weeks ago. No idea what's wrong.

Ah apparently family registration is different than Award User Registration. I had to submit his info again on award user registration and his name showed up immediately after that. Phew.

Good to know. I will also be booking for family, so will make sure I register everyone as family

So basically 2 step process: the family member will need to have its own reward program account, and then you register him or her as your family member, right? Then you can spend the miles in your account for whoever gone thru these two steps?

Where do you see your AFA Member List please? I can't seem to find this anywhere
