They are operating as normal - eg. NH801 is still scheduled.
But for the cheapest fare, they are not offering these smooth connections anymore and insist you take NH843 at HND.

That is probably more a consequence of the Narita flights being more heavily booked than the recently added departures from Haneda than anything else.

I have a NH872 daytime CGK-NRT booked for end of Feb 23.
Not sure if it will ever return. When will ANA cancel flights?
thanks.

NH871/872 is CGK-HND and is suspended through January 31. Schedule from February 1 to be decided.

My bad. Yes, I mean CGK-HND. When will they announce Feb-March schedule? Hopefully not until end of Jan.

I don't think anyone knows for sure, but my guess is by year end as they usually give a few weeks advance notice.

Hopefully nothing to worry about, but I noticed CGK-HND is only 4x a week. Has it been like that for a while? I have it booked next summer on a Sunday which the current schedule operates on. Any opinion if it is likely to stick?

Won't know for sure until summer schedule is posted. But with japan reopening to tourism, it's likely to remain 7 days a week.

They can release it anytime. This year they made changes in Feb, May, and June.

However when it returns it is only scheduled to fly Wed/Thurs/Sun. There are no Tuesday flights scheduled.

The Tuesday flight I am on is available to book via the NH website if you use Google flights, but not via a direct search on ANA's Canadian website.

Was just wondering if there is a significant chance that this flight may not run in the end?
For what it is worth my booking on NH102 in May 2023 no longer has a notification that it is "subject to government approval" (which is what made me look into the International Timetable updates in the first place). Not sure it means anything, but perhaps an indication that increased service frequency is coming back to the schedule? To be clear there is no schedule update regarding this on the website at this point.

  • Service for the Haneda = Taipei (Songshan) route on the NH853/854 flights will resume on December 1, and together with the daily operation of the NH851/852 flights, service on the Haneda = Taipei (Songshan) route will be raised to 2 roundtrips/day.

Not sure if this is the correct thread but it might be useful info. A couple of months ago I booked a return from London to Auckland via Tokyo (Haneda) and Sydney in J (a fairly long way around but good value) Stopovers in Tokyo were an option in the fare rules but not bookable as Japan was still essentially closed. With the recent relaxation in entry restrictions I could see a return option from Aukland to Narita and then a 15 hour connection with change of airports. When I phoned and asked about the possibility of switching an d building in a 3 day stopover it was not a problem and only cost me an extra $4 for taxes.
So if you booked a while ago and were unable to have a stopover in Japan it may be worth reviewing the options.

Nice, looks like they swapped the 788 (business cradle) with a 789 (business staggered) on NH835 NRT-CGK.
