The waiver says 1 time change.. I just made a date change to April..

If the waiver gets extended past April, am I allowed to make another change?

Then you might just want to cancel the march trip, and see if April becomes possible?

Hmm, perhaps I should try gaming the system too much but I've seen very cheap multi-city fares from NYC -> NRT, NRT-> PEK, PEK -> NRT -> NYC on ANA business for April. I personally don't mind going to PEK if things are looking okay, but would really prefer just taking the NYC -> NRT round trip (which is 3x the price). Do you think if the situation escalates and they cancel all flights to China that I would be able to convince them to keep those legs?

No ,it say untill April 20th.
After that date Japan has vacation season so that they do not take any change.

Is anyone reconsidering their plans to fly NH to Tokyo? I've got a purely optional, tourist family trip planned in 3 weeks.

I can't see any reason to cancel plans for going to Tokyo.

I've heard Tokyo is more peaceful than ever right now without the tour groups from China.

Just got back; Tokyo much less crowded and Kyoto is great with tourism down to 25% of normal levels. I wouldn't hesitate visiting Japan.

All changes have to be made by 2/29 but I don’t have to change by original departure, correct? Do I need to call or do something to prevent a no show or does it not matter?

We are in the same boat (though our trip is 5 weeks out). In a bit of a holding pattern right now (have award tickets via VS though which makes it a little easier to get out of the ticket if needed, just have to cancel by 24 hours before departure)

I just booked a trip to Tokyo for mid March.

Looking forward to experiencing a less than normal crowded city.
