Help with booking multi city partner award

Can you explain a bit more please? Are you trying to book these individually? Have you established that there is actual award space available on each of those flights? What airlines are involved (I'm guessing UA and LH)?

I was trying to book under Multiple cities/Mixed classes--yes, there is award space, but as I go through selecting flights, I get the dreaded "the service is not available for the specified itinerary". What am I doing wrong?

It really could be many things. Perhaps ANA doesn't allow this routing, perhaps there is phantom award space. You probably need to call in. What happens when you try to book each of these segments individually?

Are you sure your routing is IAD-BCN-FRA-IAD AFTER you chose your flights, and itinerary didn't include any non partner code share flights.
Please post your EXACT flights just before booking was refused.

Trying to do ICN-TPE-KIX (or TYO)-ICN but website errors out after selecting each flight segments. There are flights available on aeroplan/united/expert flyer but ANA doesn't price out online regardless of dates.
Is this a routing mpm issue? I recall booking the reverse (TPE-ICN-TYO-TPE) online before pricing around 30k and it wasn't a problem.

That's significant backtracking. Are you sure it is a valid routing?
TPE-ICN-TYO-TPE is clearly not or little if it is.
Edit: if the destination is TPE, it is not.

So likely mpm or routing issue then, can't do stopover at TYO between ICN and TPE but can do stopver at ICN between TPE and TYO. Is there a published rule on this?

Incheon(zone 2) to Taipei (zone 3) requires 22,000 miles in Y.
Japan(zone 1) to Taipei(zone3) requires 23,000 miles in Y.
You can't select intermediate points which require higher mileage.

Is HKG-TPE-TYO-HKG valid then? Both HKG and stopover TPE are in Zone 3, but still can't price it out online and errored out after selecting final flight segment.

Hrm, I'm assuming all flight segments must be direct in this case? There was a day where only connection is available from TPE-TYO and website shows HKG/FUK/KIX as connection points but all turned out to error after selecting.

Your final itinerary determines validity.
Selected flight(s) are only a candidate. Because of routing restriction can be determined based on only finalized itinerary.
You can include only two stopovers, including one in the destination.
You can include maximum two transfer points in outbound, maximum two transfer points in inbound.
You can't go through the origin.
HKG-TPE-xKIX-HND-HKG : valid
HKG-TPE-xKIX-HND-xFUK-HKG: valid
HKG-TPE-xHKG-HND-HKG: invalid
HKG-TPE-xICN-xFUK-HND-xICN-xTPE-HKG: invalid
