My fligths are actually in the beginning of April. NH 224 and NH 106. Both still locked in the 777 with a First.
I know, that for today at least NH 224 is bookable as a 787, but that might change with the new flight plan. Keep fingers crossed. Japan is open up without Quarantäne, so the demand is rising.

My gut feeling is that Frankfurt won’t get a 777 again til later in the year - perhaps October, given that’s when LAX is (currently) due to change to a 787, but I have been in the same position as you, except departing from Heathrow

(LHR - HND for 8 Hours - LAX)

Im thankful they’ve reintroduced the daily flights from Heathrow.

I’m surprised (and thankful) that LAX has kept the new config, at least for now.

I hope you are wrong... starting 27 of march flight plan on ANA Wesite has been changed. If Japan opens up , there will be quiickly a high demand. If i have to start with the 787 in C, thats still ok.

Connections are perfectly fine, no issues there.

It's to accommodate the partition between seats. Scroll down in that same trip report to photos of the seat from the aisle and you'll see the spaces where the "missing" windows should be.

JFK yes, ORD not that I'm aware if.

You can go through the booking flow online and if it says "suite" in first, it's the new configuration.

But there's no consistency in where the missing windows are. Some partitions have a window right behind them, others don't. Some seats have two usable windows, others have only one. I don't understand the basis behind the location of the missing windows.

It's the same in May, I've just received a notification. On their website, they're not selling first class till July 1st.

Same for my NH105 LAX-HND flight in October. Is there any play here to get onto a 77W with the Room for JFK-HND? It’s waitlisted of course.
