ANA domestic to JL International flight

Need some advice on the following itinerary.
I am planning to book a flight from Oita-Haneda on ANA that lands at HND at 09:10.
I want to connect same day on a JL flight to JFK that leaves at 10:40
These would be on 2 separate tickets.
Will that give me enough to make the JFK flight and will ANA check my bags through to JFK?

Unfortunately, MCT of NH to JL at HND is 2 hours.
So, you can't make through check in at OIT.
If, your itinerary satisfies MCT, you can make through check in even separates tickets.
BTW, JL662 lands at HND on 09:10, it satisfies JL-JL MCT 1h00m.

But if I just do carry-on, then I should be able to make the connection at HND?

If no delay from OIT, no problem.
On line check in and with mobile/home printed boarding pass, you don't need go to JAL counter.
Counter closes at 60 minutes before departure.

As long as your domestic flight is not delayed, you will make the connection.
Land at HND domestic, and either take the free shuttle or pay to use Keikyu or monorail to get to international terminal in time for your international flight.

???
When you have domestic to international connection, you can get a free ticket for Keikyu or monorail at information counters on 1F or B1F.
